/ Hi, I am Way Shen

I find where manual work or bad data is costing a business. Then I build the systems to fix it.

I spent almost 8 years at a digital agency in Singapore. I started as a developer and ended up running the development and digital advertising teams. I sit between engineering, marketing, and operations, and these days I use AI to handle the slow, repetitive parts.

/ how i work

I'm not just a developer, a marketer, or an "AI guy." I've worked as all three.

Most teams hire three people to cover that. With one person, nothing gets lost between planning the work, running it, and building the tools underneath.

/ 01

Systems & architecture

Set things up so the right thing happens on its own, not because someone remembered. CRM pipelines, integrations, and cloud hosting.

/ 02

Workflow automation

Replace the manual steps that keep breaking with automation that doesn't forget weekends, skip a step, or read a number wrong.

/ 03

AI on the boring parts

Use AI for the slow, repetitive work. A person still checks it, so you get the speed without trusting it blindly.

/ 04

Tech that knows marketing

I've planned and taught campaign strategy, and built the tools that run the campaigns. I get the business problem before I write any code.

/ selected work

Five systems I designed and built.

Four solved real problems for clients and teams during my agency years. The last is a freelance build I took on solo after leaving, to go deeper into AI engineering.

/ who i help

If your team is doing by hand what a system should be doing.

  • A manual step people keep forgetting, and it costs you when they do.
  • Data stuck in a tool with no API, copied by hand every day.
  • Two systems that should talk to each other but don't.
  • You want to use AI for something real but aren't sure where it's safe.
  • Hours lost every week on repetitive work no one wants to own.

/ availability

Right now I'm open to full-time roles and a few freelance or advisory projects. I'd rather do a few things well than spread myself thin.

Tell me what's eating your team's time.

Just write me a paragraph about the manual or broken thing that's slowing you down. I'll tell you if it's worth automating, and roughly what it would take.
